It's hard to lose friends and family, especially when it's way too soon! Tony Aponte made everything more special! Every concert, every surprise! Calling before we would get on an airplane to go on tour! Showing up at a show in Connecticut! Showing up at a festival in Melbourne! Always with the biggest smile and the best Hugs! We all knew immediately the day that we met Tony at a Saigon kick concert that we were opening for, that we had met someone significant to our lives. It is kind of like an instant knowing when you meet true Soul family.

We knew he was sick but it didn't seem like anything could ever stop Tony from shining. And honestly, he hasn't stopped shining in our lives. The best way that I know how to honor him and commemorate his incredible existence is in a song, because he supported our music above all else. So, I wrote a song for him called The Silence (The Sun will Rise Again) that I am currently working on arranging for recording with several of my favorite musicians in the world including Renee Arozqueta, Michelle Jones, April Montallana Maynard, Russell Ray and more!

Tony's brilliant family wants to help us get to record and release this song to the world properly to carry on his legacy of being a brilliant light in the world, so they started a GoFundMe page to make this happen!!;

We would appreciate any and all support to create something special for our treasured friend and a song to help other people with their grieving process for the losses in life.
